Llundudno X Country Report

14 Olympians journeyed  to St. David's College Llandudno for 2nd fixture of Grand Prix Express NWXC.
2pm,  8 Olympian Ladies set off in very warm conditions , and the racing was hotter still. Ali Lavender ,fresh from her PB in Cardiff half , battled with Bangor
winner  young Georgia Gardner for most of the race edging in front to cross the line 23secs ahead. There were great runs from all other team members to
help the club to 3rd spot 2 positions better than Bangor .
Not so lucky for the men , as the gun went , down came the rain and continued for most of the race . Our rising triathlete star young Jimmy Kershaw  set off with
leading group and stayed with them for couple laps , 2 Eryri lads widened the gap up front but Jimmy dug in and held on for a great 3rd spot , his first outing with
Seniors..... Well done Jimmy.Vet 40 Ian Lowe ( uncle scruff!) crossed line in 26th with Steve R Mike B  Paul Brown and Kelvin Williams  scoring for the club.( Paul and
